I invite you to join the Sustainable Arts Society, Inc. a community of the likeminded, who are dedicated to preserving and nurturing the human spirit. Promoting environmental sustainability and establishing a retreat, where artists, musicians, writers, thinkers can flourish, is the mission of this new organization, located in the North Georgia mountains.

Creative individuals, desiring to do their own work, traditionally do not have the financial resources to remove themselves from the every-day world. The Sustainable Arts Society seeks to provide residency fellowships for deserving applicants. Fellowships will fund living expenses for residents on the farm. Residents, in turn, will enter into the daily life of the farm, interact with each other, and the larger community.

Members will have the opportunity to know the residents through exhibits, performances, educational programs, and social events. Membership is open to all who believe in the value of creativity and the artist’s role in enriching and expanding the human experience. Without the generous support of patrons and members who believe that the arts have a vital role in our culture, a community such as this cannot endure.
